Jenny and Ian Liddell offer you a very warm welcome to our 15th century farmhouse bed and breakfast, situated at the end of a private lane between Hatfield Heath and Sheering.
We are a working arable farm which is owned by my husband and one of my sons, Martin. The farm, and the area we farm, extends to about 2000 acres in the local region.
Ideally situated for Stansted airport (only 7 miles away) and midway between London and Cambridge. There are a number of pleasant rural pubs nearby, serving food, and also several restaurants. We can also offer a free transfer to the airport between 7a.m. and 6p.m.. However we cannot offer collections from the airport but advise guests to take a taxi. Please note all transfers are subject to weather conditions on the day (i.e. no transfers during severe weather as the home is in a rural location).
The home has some nice walks on the farm and in the surrounding countryside, and visitors are welcome to use the large garden (where breakfast can be served if desired).
